Infrastructure Project Manager:
Plans, organizes, and coordinates the project lifecycle for technology infrastructure projects, including server, mainframe, storage, database, and network technology lifecycle management. Leads infrastructure projects from initiation through implementation including phases such as planning, execution, monitoring/controlling, and close-out. Establishes project requirements, priorities, and deadlines.
Identifies and analyzes client needs and defines project scope, requirements, schedule, budget, and deliverables. Coordinates all infrastructure technology resources, including staff, equipment, vendors, and consultants, across one or more projects. Serves as primary liaison between client stakeholders, user groups, and the project team developing the solution. Manages project activities and ensures all project phases are documented appropriately. Creates and manages risk assessments and communication plans. Identifies and manages the resolution of issues. Monitors and provides feedback to management on employee performance on the project, ensuring the team follows change management procedures. Maintains a detailed project plan and updates the project plan to accurately reflect the project status. Manages and projects full project costs against a given budget. Ensures the quality of project deliverables. Reconciles consultants' statements of work, timesheets, and invoices. Ensures project is completed in accordance with all technology risk, architecture, and other relevant enterprise-wide guidelines.
