Casino Pit Manager:
Manages the pit during a given shift and ensures integrity of the games. Leads and assists staff to ensure a smooth operation. Allocates staff to tables. Ensures successful operation of the games area, maximum game protection, and that guests have a favorable gaming experience.
Oversees fills, player ratings, and rundowns. Analyzes customer play, cheating, scams, counters, and unusual or suspicious variation of play. Removes suspected card counters. Observes gaming personnel for evidence of theft or ties to dishonest players. Manages table games staff in the proper performance of their duties. Maintains knowledge of all rules of all games. Investigates and resolves customer complaints and issues. Answers customer questions about game information. Plans, organizes, schedules, and delegates work assignments. Conducts employee counseling sessions including verbal and written corrective action reports. Assists in hiring training of staff. Motivates, guides, and supports subordinates.
