Manages all assigned staff to ensure the department is able to meet its goals, including performing department activities within budgeted staff levels and expenses, meeting department productivity levels, and organizing and streamlining job functions to meet JCAHO, hospital, and corporate goals and standards. Ensures production of accurate medical reports for quality patient care, meeting medical staff requirements for report turnaround time. Provides a supportive, caring environment for employees.
