Tool Design Engineer: Plans and administers analytical studies on engineering proposals to develop designs for tools utilizing and applying engineering principals, research data, and proposed specifications. Analyzes engineering proposals, process requirements, and related technical data pertaining to design to determine feasibility of proposal. Utilizes computer-assisted engineering software and equipment. Determines designs which can be produced by existing manufacturing or processing facilities and methods by analyzing specifications and performance requirements. Analyzes test data and reports to determine if design meets functional and performance specifications.
