Participates in market research, marketing plan development, media buying, and writing, as well as in the coordination of the marketing process, from concept to execution and follow-up. Coordinates marketing materials, working directly with Advertising Operations and Advertising Administration Departments, scheduling insertion orders, and accurately tracking ad revenue. Coordinates the advertising production schedule and works to ensure that ads are produced and executed in a cost effective and efficient manner. Assists Account Executives and Customer Service Representatives with issues involving securing ad orders as well as researching and/or processing ad adjustments. Manages tasks within the ad entry operations, keeping track of required deadlines and coordinating processing of incoming ad orders. Ensures compliance by vendors and brokers to promotions-related policies. Coordinates publication activities with internal and external graphic customers and advertising revenue processes. Reviews and understands all rate codes, and quotes the appropriate rates to customers and agencies.
