Job Description
Manages the daily operations for a park facility, including maintaining inventories, payroll, scheduling, and supervising staff. Develops action plans for park facility services and programs, administers the budget plan, and performs staff evaluations and payroll. Maintains individual camping areas and ensures the cleanliness of all park stations. Responds to emergency situations in the park. Oversees the maintenance of grass and... turf, replacement of park systems and equipment, and the removal of refuse. Schedules crews and assigns work, assuring all work is completed within established deadlines. Helps prepare budget and monitors expenditures. Writes and administers performance evaluations, disciplinary action, and improvement plans. Instructs employees in proper work procedures, hazards, and safety precautions and provides feedback and quality assurance. Prepares and maintains daily work reports and adjusts work assignments. Supervises crews of workers in the repair and maintenance of all town parks, their amenities, and buildings. Inspects and approves the work of contractors.
