Job Description
Assures a company's sourced and manufactured parts and products are compliant with local and global environmental regulations and customer requirements relating to the design, manufacture, packaging, use, and end-of-life disposal on a global basis. Aids product designers in selecting parts that are compliant. Keeps current on changing environmental regulations in jurisdictions where the company conducts business, and notifies management of any developments in environmental regulations that may pose risks to product shipments. Identifies, analyzes, summarizes, and resolves product and engineering manufacturing, design, and field problem issues related to regulatory compliance issues; and ensures all open issues are driven to closure.
