Job Description
Monitors and records activities related to the operation of one or more specific pieces of equipment in a shop or production environment, and ensures compliance to internal manufacturing instructions and procedures. Verifies performance of production machines for conformance to specifications. Reads and reviews work orders to determine machine to be checked and type of inspection required. Interprets blueprints and drawings and internal manufacturing instructions, inspects machines for performance problems, measures parts and operation of machine components in accordance with blueprints, and completes required paperwork.
