Job Description
Implements and oversees Building Information Modeling applications for construction projects and assures the quality and availability of BIM documents for project stakeholders. Develops 2D and 3D drawings and BIM models using design software programs. Submits BIM pre-construction models to be reviewed and approved. Visits construction site to assess project scope and identify potential issues. Uploads drawings to the BIM application,... maintains the library of construction documents, and trains stakeholders on how to access BIM models. Obtains and inputs product information from manufacturers and engineers into the BIM system. Reviews and corrects existing design documents. Coordinates and monitors project progress from design to product delivery. Collaborates with engineers, architects, contractors, and clients to plan project estimates and confirm structural integrity.
