Job Description:

Administers all aspects of the WebSphere environment, including the day-to-day operations and responsiveness for problem resolution as well as instituting proactive measures to identify and correct issues before they affect the business team. Implements and maintains WebSphere and database servers. Coordinates tasks across functional areas of the IT Department including the system operating system, network administration, mainframe operations, databases, system monitoring, and security software. Guides and facilitates teams in the delivery of technical solutions. Performs complex work assignments and problem resolution across systems, processes, and channels. Participates in the evaluation, development, and implementation of internal or external business solutions that meet customer needs. Manages multiple development initiatives of significant scope and complexity. Coordinates with cross-functional team members to translate business requirements into specifications. Creates test plans. Identifies opportunities and potential technical solutions. Synthesizes analyses, identifies root causes, and develops and recommends technical solutions. Supports and proactively contributes to continuous improvement initiatives within area of expertise for assigned company and/or across enterprise. Analyzes, designs, develops, tests, creates prototypes, debugs, and implements new information technology systems or modifications to existing information technology systems within the systems or software development lifecycle.
