Job Description:

Directs and maintains successful labor-management relationships of an organization. Formulates and implements employee programs and company policies and objectives. Represents management in negotiation and administration of collective bargaining agreements, including terms and conditions such as wages, hours of work, working conditions, and grievance procedures. Works with CEO and Board of Directors, setting the short- and long-term strategic objectives while providing the management necessary to achieve profits, growth, or other goals of the organization. Identifies the strategic objectives for labor and industrial relations and communicates those objectives to subordinate management. Provides the framework for planning and communication with Board of Directors. Achieves desired results through the use of budgets, proper contracts, and efficient decision making.
