Job Description:

Directs, develops, and implements strategies in international assigned area of responsibility to grow company revenue in accordance with organization goals and objectives. Directs and coordinates activities of international sales and aids upper management in formulating and administering international sales policies and directs activities of international sales development. Conducts economic and commercial surveys in foreign countries to locate markets for products and services. Confers with management to determine international sales objectives and develop international sales policies to achieve organization goals. Monitors the market position of competing products, services, and organizations and evaluates their marketing and sales techniques. Develops relationships with international sales distributors, key and national account customers, and potential customers. Establishes relationship with foreign governmental officials and decision makers to promote trade relations, distribution, and services organizations designed to achieve maximum sales volume and profit goals. Advises on local, national, and international legislation affecting international sales. Advises on documentation procedures and certifies commercial documents that are required by foreign countries. Develops contract strategy and negotiates contracts in accordance with company standards and business requirements. Reviews international market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates, and develops sales campaigns. Oversees and approves budget planning and sales forecasting and prepares other reports for management as requested. Works in conjunction with and ensures support for sales administration, product development, marketing communications, and research. Assists with the preparation of manuals and technical publications. Communicates and enforces company policy and practices. Trains, directs, develops, motivates, and evaluates sales personnel.
