Directs sales staff and activities, and plans, develops, and establishes policies and objectives of sales function in accordance with strategic objectives of organization. Confers with organization officials to plan sales objectives, to develop sales policies and to coordinate functions. Evaluates the market position of competing products, services, and organizations and their marketing and sales techniques. Devises sales strategies and promotions to obtain maximum sales volume.
