Job Description:

Documents and tests organization's financial reporting controls and their related attributes, utilizing the standard Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) risk control matrices. Works cooperatively with organization, division, and/or business unit management, helping with implementation and maintenance of the SOX function. Collaborates with Internal Audit and conducts ongoing significant account reviews, ensuring linkages between accounts and controls tested. Reviews, distributes, and implements SOX guidance as it is issued, participates in global guidance update calls, and modifies SOX program appropriately. Provides testing status updates to SOX core team and/or management on a regular basis. Prepares write-ups of any new deficiency identified and submits them, along with updates to existing items, to SOX management on a regular basis. Identifies organization/division/business unit SOX training needs and participates in the training. Responds to CPA meeting and documentation requests, liaises with CPA contact directly to arrange SOX planning sessions and walkthroughs, and facilitates the integrated audit approach. Establishes and communicates testing timeline with management. Manages and executes all aspects of test preparation, execution, and coordination with process owners. Facilitates detailed review of test results and test summary for completeness and accuracy. Communicates testing support needs and data requests. Manages status reporting and facilitates meetings to clarify test results, as needed. Ensures testing project binders and all documentation is maintained.
