Job Description:

Promotes and sells company products or services face to face in assigned area or territory. Represents the company and performs presentations of the company's products or services. Communicates directly with new and existing customers or clients to demonstrate and/or explain features and merits of products or services offered and provides assistance in the best application of products or services. Sells upgrades of products or services to existing customers. Develops new accounts. Answers all questions concerning a product or service, with appropriate referrals where required. Closes transactions and takes orders. Prepares and executes customers' sales applications and arranges installation or delivery if necessary. Prepares and submits sales reports and time and expense reports to management. Investigates product/service warranty claims to ensure resolution within organization policies. Analyzes and interprets records of present and past sales, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred for management. Contacts prospects and explains features and merits of products or services offered, utilizing persuasive sales techniques. Calculates and quotes prices. Demonstrates expanded knowledge and competency by continually upgrading and improving sales presentation, knowledge of products, services, and rates.
