Job Description:

Provides customer service at a sales counter and sells to walk-in or call-in customers. Interacts with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about accounts, products, and services. Identifies, qualifies, and sells to new and existing customers. Handles and resolves customer complaints, special orders, or returns in-store or via phone or mail. Receives and processes orders, provides information concerning features, benefits, pricing, changes in service, discontinuance, warranty policy, and/or shipping. Answers customers' questions regarding product or service and operation or maintenance. Encourages in-store sales and counter traffic. Interviews customers to obtain information and explain available services. Investigates and corrects errors, following customer and company records. Adjusts complaints concerning billing or services rendered. Refers complaints of product or service failure to appropriate departments for investigation. Coordinates customers' service needs with other departments as required to ensure customer service. Handles cash. Operates a cash register, computer, and paper cataloging systems.
