Job Description:

Designs and develops information architecture for intranet-based applications using Cold Fusion. Specifies the features of physical design, estimates time and effort to complete each feature, builds implementation of features, prepares product for deployment, and provides technology subject matter expertise to the team. Uses knowledge of all aspects of software development including, but not limited to, the ability to translate business and technical requirements into extensible, scalable, and maintainable applications. Designs and Implements an efficient solution that meets the functional requirements, is extensible, and is easily maintained. Extends existing code base, or develops new code, using proven best practice patterns and coding standards. Understands functional specifications and technical specifications. Tests code for all contingencies outlined in the requirements documentation. Checks in code and communicates task status. Understands the organization's or client's industry vertical and helps identify core competencies and competitive advantages for the organization or client. Demonstrates best practice knowledge and applies skills to deliver an effective solution specific to the client's needs. Collaborates with Technician Lead, System Architect, and Business Analyst to integrate different perspectives into technical documentation. Demonstrates flexibility and versatility to adapt to unique team dynamics and client and internal team cultures. Collaborates with Project Managers to facilitate consensus in client meetings while projecting confidence, significant industry knowledge, and basic facilitation skills. Less
