Job Description:

Coordinates the annual gifts program, including research, identification, cultivation, solicitation, and acknowledgement of all major gifts from individuals and organizations. Develops strategies to increase funds raised from annual gifts. Maintains the donor database and oversees all major gifts mailings. Manages the gift acknowledgment process, including writing quarterly template letters and tailoring and generating acknowledgment letters for individual annual gift donors. Processes online gifts. Cultivates and maintains major donor relationships through multiple annual appeals, proposals, and reports, acknowledgement of donations, and events. Produces and customizes letters for direct mail solicitations for renewals and acquisitions. Oversees the analysis and utilization of data on major donors to identify cultivation strategies and propose gift amounts. Cultivates new donors through identification of leads, outreach, research, scheduling meetings, acquisition mailings, and follow-up correspondence. Generates mailing lists for the direct mail campaign and to ensure proper solicitation coding in the database. Develops strategy for and implements online communications and solicitations.
