Job Description:

Recruits prospective students and reviews applications for admission to college, university, or graduate school. Advises prospective and incoming students on the admissions process. Responds to inquiries and meets with prospective students to explain program offerings. Tours the campus and presents the school and its programs to prospective students and families. Interviews applicants through telephone contact and personal interviews to determine motivation, interest, effort, and ability to qualify for various programs. Advises the prospective student on suitable programs in accordance with their qualifications and objectives. Evaluates academic credentials and determines transfer credits. Advises prospective and incoming students on application requirements and admissions criteria. Creates student records and enters data into applicable database systems. Processes student enrollments and maintains database systems to tract prospective students and enrollments. Assists prospective and incoming students with admissions, financial aid, and the registration process. Provides administrative support to the Office of Admissions, including general office support.
