Studies basic principles of plant and animal life, such as origin, relationship, development, anatomy, and functions. Studies the origins, behavior, diseases, genetics, and life processes of animals and wildlife. Studies the conservation of wild animals and their habitats, or works to reduce populations of overabundant species of fish and wildlife, working directly with the wild animals, their habitats, and people. Assesses the effects of human activities on the needs of wildlife and determines alternative management solutions that allow both human activities and maintenance of wildlife populations. Records results of studies and informs public, State, and Federal representatives, including law enforcement, of results if required. May prepare environmental impact reports.
