Job Description:

Solves economic, scientific, engineering, physics, and business problems by performing quantitative analysis. Implements, analyzes, and calibrates complex mathematical models. Develops and enhances existing analytical models and designs and implements new models. Plans and conducts research and performs integration of new products into existing models. Develops models, tools, infrastructure, and quantitative disciplines to support decision-making processes. Translates quantitative techniques into usable tools to support the business or other processes. Advocates the use of quantitative analytics and disciplines in the decision-making processes. Provides support to other areas in the enhancing of technology infrastructure and analytic tools. Performs computations, applies methods of numerical analysis, and operates or directs computer software programs in solving problems in support of mathematical, scientific, or industrial research activity. Acts as advisor or consultant to research personnel concerning quantitative methods and applications. Assists in the construction and maintenance of a library of models.
