Job Description:

Plans, organizes, directs, and coordinates, through subordinate managerial personnel, activities of retail banking consumer products and services division. Oversees tellers and loan officers, new accounts, branch operations, deposit and lending services, customer service, new product research and development, marketing, personal banking, and private banking. Assesses market conditions, and recommends banking strategies to gain and sustain the bank’s competitive edge. Acts under authority and responsibility delegated by a corporate executive officer. NOTE: ERI's findings based on asset size. Oversees activities of assigned programs, determines methods and procedures for carrying out program, and assists in interpreting policies and practices. Directs or conducts management studies, prepares workload and budget estimates for specified or assigned operations, analyzes operational reports, and submits activity reports. Develops and recommends plans for expansion of programs, operations, and financial activities. Keeps current on bank deposit, lending, services, operations, marketing, and personnel-related policies and practices. May solicit new business or participate in community or service organizations. May authorize loans of specified types and amounts when permitted by institution regulations. Less
