Job Description:

Oversees and manages activities related to the outsourcing of a specific service(s) or department(s). Acts as point of contact, and maintains cooperation and effective communication between the organization and the outsourcing company. Supports key outsourcing objectives, assures compliance with key processes, and partners collaboratively with cross-functional groups to ensure the most optimal solutions are achieved in alignment with department strategies. "Heads and/or supports the outsourcing company selection process. Develops and establishes processes and tools, including the RFI and RFP, used to identify and select vendors used for outsourcing. Participates in the generation and documentation of specifications for work to be outsourced. Manages the contract negotiations with outsourcing providers including all initial contracts and any subsequent change orders. Manages outsourcing vendor relationship(s) on a day-to-day basis to ensure high-quality service delivery. Facilitates execution of contracted services in support of corporate and department goals. Analyzes corporate and regulatory compliance, cost efficiencies, optimal processes, and on-time and within budget studies, and addresses, escalates issues, or resolves contract scope and budget issues as appropriate. Coordinates all communication as it relates to organization’s requirements, best practices, policies, and standard operating procedures as applicable. Relays all details about current and proposed projects to appropriate management of both organizations. Liaises closely with financial, legal, and quality assurance departments.
