Job Description:

Performs analyses, tests, and administrates HRIS computer system modules including, but not limited to, human resources, compensation, payroll, benefits, etc. Keeps integrity and accuracy of database. Investigates programs to process data and solve human resources problems by use of computers--computer systems support may be mainframe, mini, and/or personal computers. Meets with users to analyze, design, develop, test, and implement programs to meet special and on-going needs of human resources information. Meets with users to develop, maintain, produce, and distribute standard and custom reports and queries. Acts as liaison with managerial and systems analysis personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, suggest changes, and determine extent of programming involved. Analyzes test runs on computer to correct coded program and input data. Revises existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements. Compiles documentation of program development and subsequent revisions. Collaborates with computer manufacturers, software vendors, and other users to ensure support in meeting the human resources objectives.
