Studies and develops geospatial technologies, combining spatial software and analytical methods with terrestrial or geographic datasets. Applies the techniques of surveying, remote sensing, and geospatial data analysis to provide high-quality reliable geospatial information used to assist in fields such as mining, agriculture, military intelligence, digital map technology, management and maintenance of city infrastructure, regional agriculture, and forest lands Collects, stores, manages, manipulates, analyzes, and utilizes information regarding the features of the Earth's surface, and combines these with other types of economic, social, and environmental information. Provides technical concept solutions to a wide range of challenging problems for demonstrating how geospatial volumetric analysis and filtering can be used for continual advancement of geospatial information technology. Performs scientific analysis on a variety of remotely sensed data types, and communicates remote sensing capabilities and related phenomenology to a diverse audience, including those not having a strong technical background.
