Assists in the operation of games, such as bingo and keno. Operates bingo, keno, or other game equipment. Makes announcements and picks or announces random numbers until the total numbers specified for each game are selected or until there is a winner, depending on the game. Picks up filled out cards or tickets from players, collects bets in the form of cash or chips, and receives, verifies, and records patrons’ cash wagers. Ensures that the game operates smoothly. Gaming license is required. Collects winning cards or tickets from players. Scans and processes winning tickets presented by patrons. Computes and verifies amounts won and lost, then pays out winnings, or refers patrons to workers, such as gaming cashiers, so that winnings can be collected.
