Job Description:

Investigates customer complaints about service, billing, or credit rating. Ascertains accuracy of customer complaint and discovers responsibility for errors. Notifies customer and appropriate personnel of findings, adjustments, and recommendations for improvements in service or billing methods and procedures. Examines records, such as bills, computer printouts, microfilm, and related documents and correspondence, and converses or corresponds with customer and other company personnel, such as billing, credit, or sales, to obtain facts regarding customer complaint. Examines pertinent information to determine accuracy of customer complaint and to determine responsibility for errors. May recommend to management improvements in service or billing methods and procedures to prevent future complaints of similar nature.
