Job Description:

Directs and organizes the overall consumer information programs and activities of the organization. Designs and directs the development, communication, and availability of appropriate product or service information to consumers. Plans and develops consumer information programs and policies, maintaining consumer interest and acceptance. Advises management of consumer implications of organization policies. Assists top management in setting and promoting the short- and long-term strategic objectives while providing the management necessary to achieve profits, growth, or other goals of the organization. Assists in identifying the strategic objectives for dissemination of consumer information and communicates those objectives to subordinate management. Ensures effective and accurate communications between the organization and consumers. Represents the organization in various community and related industry organizations. Maintains an environment in which manpower training, turnover, compensation, and growth adequately match the organization's needs.
