Coordinates activities of personnel engaged in writing, directing, editing, and producing a television program or motion picture. Reviews synopses and scripts and directs adaptation. Determines treatment and scope of proposed productions, and establishes departmental operating budgets. Selects principal members of cast and key production staff members.
