Plans, researches, and experiments with ways to develop and improve metalworking processes methods of molding, melting, alloying, and pouring of metals. Excludes paraprofessional positions. Develops experimental molds and materials for permeability, strength, and chemical composition. Calculates quantity of alloying metals required.
