Job Description:

Coordinates and participates in a variety of duties involved in the collection, interpretation, documentation, and summarization of descriptive, analytical, and evaluative data in support of research and/or information gathering activities. Establishes procedures for the procurement of data through observation, interviewing, analyzing records, and other sources. Coordinates the coding and key-punching of data in preparation for computer processing. Maintains liaison with Data Processing and ensures quality control. Coordinates the preparation of reports and analyses setting forth progress, adverse trends, and appropriate recommendations or conclusions. Recommends new methods for collection and documentation of data. Writes and revises procedural manuals as required. May prepare work assignments and review the work of lower level employees.
