Job Description:

Collects, analyzes, organizes, synthesizes, and documents clinical data within a specific clinical area for a medical organization and/or a third party. Examines data and defines logical data sets, exercising independent judgment with strong analytical capabilities. Develops, implements, and evaluates clinical data management processes and standards. Contributes to internal and external metric and performance measure tracking. Identifies inclusion or exclusion criteria to read medical charts and enter new subject data. Presents confidential records and research materials to clinical study teams of other institutions. Prepares statistical subject centered information reflecting in research study. Prepares and documents ad hoc and standard reports on regulatory, research, quality improvement, and administrative purposes. Supports efforts to ensure delivery of quality data to support clinical services. Uses knowledge of information systems to design and document clinical data studies. Manages, reviews, and maintains data management plans, and other study related documentation. Reviews accuracy of clinical data and removes data discrepancies.
