Purchases and sells energy and power-related financial products, including coal, natural gas, electricity, heating oil, etc. Analyzes power markets to take advantage of arbitrage and other opportunities. Monitors energy levels and identifies fluctuations in cost and availability of power sources. Identifies trading opportunities and trading strategies based on analysis. Establishes and maintains relationships with power trading customers, counterparts of competitors, and brokers. Assists with power procurement or blending activities as necessary.
