Uses required knowledge of literary Braille, formatting, graphics, Braille production, and higher-level Braille code skills such as Nemeth (math) and foreign language codes. Requires certification by National Library Service. Transcribes from prepared copy, original script, or optical scanning. Impresses combinations of dots that distinguish Braille letters.
