Job Description:

Processes incoming and outgoing mail, order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, warehousing, and transporting of mail center items. Distributes mail by retrieving or receiving items from post office and delivery services, documents incoming deliveries, sorts by addressee, destination, and type. Processes outgoing mail using USPS, complying with postal service and delivery service requirements. Maintains postage equipment by operating and inspecting equipment according to established procedures, performing minor repairs, and notifying supervisor or vendor technicians of problems. Maintains postage meter reserves by monitoring balances, completing control logs, and requisitioning postage. Provides mail and parcel delivery information by answering questions and requests. Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with policies, procedures, and regulations. Prepares and stores information by gathering information, preparing folders and labels for new accounts, rearranging materials for space allocations, and filing information in designated areas. Maintains file integrity and operations by adhering to filing system procedures, following policies, and reporting needed changes. Maintains mail and filing supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory levels and requisitioning supplies. Maintains customer confidence and protects organization reputation by keeping customer account and company information private.
