Job Description:

Provides direct customer support through inbound calls and/or e-mail pertaining to IRA information and general client service issues. Assists with the overall operation and function of the IRA Department. Maintains timely and accurate accounting records and reconcilements for all IRA's. Ensures compliance to and stay abreast of bank policies and procedures, Written Supervisory Procedures, and current State and Federal laws, particularly IRA regulations. Answers incoming calls from retired/terminated retirement participants. Places outbound calls to retirement participants that have been qualified and referred for further assistance or education on their retirement options. Determines customer needs and provides guidance on investment products and strategies. Collaborates with the Retirement Plan Services (RPS) Processing Department to ensure that money is properly and efficiently moved from the 401(k) plan to the IRA and resolves all situations where the process is not working smoothly. Provides customer service to terminated participants that have not chosen to distribute or roll-over accounts. Researches outstanding issues or difficult inquiries from customers. Provides assistance with and performs transfers, rollovers, distributions, and tax reporting on IRA's. Develops policies and procedures for administration of IRA's. Completes all mandatory compliance training. Works with internal auditors, Office of Thrift Supervision, SEC, and FINRA, as required, on audit issues.
