Job Description:

Oversees the day to day management of all data center operations, policies, and procedures. Manages data center supervisors and operators engaged in inputting data into various storage media, manipulating existing data, editing data, and proofing new entries into database for accuracy. Interprets company policy to employees and enforces company policies and practices. Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists employees in solving work problems. Ensures work is performed within established policies, procedures, and standards. Defines, tracks, and manages operations and cross-functional projects that impact different operations teams. Tracks and solves recurring problems. Analyzes processes and procedures, identifying weaknesses or deficiencies, and implements improvements. Develops and maintains infrastructure monitoring systems. Devises new techniques to expedite workflow, improve productivity, and improve operating environment. Handles data center related contracts, including negotiation of terms, rates, etc., if necessary. Develops and maintains good working relationships with vendors and internal departments to drive the best long-term customer service and business results. Confers and works efficiently and effectively with other departments to implement controls and schedules, resolve delivery problems, and help validate business, operational, and financial impact of large scale data center projects.
