Job Description:

Manages, plans, organizes, and directs all functions of the Admitting and Registration Department, including registration processes for inpatient, outpatient, emergency room, and hospital cashier services. Supervises the Admitting and Registration Department staff. Plans and prepares work schedules and priorities. Assigns duties to and coordinates activities for the Supervisor of Scheduling and Registration, patient registration including pre-registration, surgery scheduling and pre-registration, pre-admission testing, systems management, emergency registration, and bed placement. Makes patient financial arrangements and eligibility determinations and transmits information to Patient Financial Services. Performs data collection and record keeping. Less
