Job Description:

Coordinates, manages, creates, reviews, audits, and updates content for organization's digital and social sites. Copyedits Web content for style, accuracy, spelling, grammar, and clarity, using editorial judgment; and makes appropriate corrections, ensuring copy produced by websites adheres to correct style. Ensures overall quality and accuracy of websites and that content is consistent with the organizational vision. Researches and writes Web content as necessary. Develops strategies to help keep content fresh, engaging, and dynamic; and assists in the development, launch, and management of enhancements to the organization's digital presence, including websites, social media accounts, and other digital properties. Oversees maintenance of organization's website content, and troubleshoots problems on the website. Oversees management and launching of new Web/digital projects, and maintains and optimizes live projects from concept through all phases of implementation. Produces and maintains accurate reports and logs of changes, and implements and schedules promotions. Utilizes knowledge of HTML, web design, JavaScript, Photoshop, CSS, and other writing and design programs. Works effectively and efficiently with Content Producers, Editors, Graphic Designers, marketing personnel, technical staff, and vendors in a variety of tasks related to website function and content; and is often considered the primary point of contact among these people. Schedules e-mail campaigns, tracks results, follows up on issues, and manages image and logo rights and usage.
