Job Description:

Designs, analyzes, and plans set preparation for a variety of water and wastewater projects including, but not limited to, water delivery/distribution systems, wastewater collection, water and wastewater treatment, sewage collection systems, pumping stations, lift stations, water/wastewater treatment plants, and pipeline projects. Participates in master planning and preparation of design drawings, specifications, and calculations. Engages in fieldwork, data collection, and analysis and elementary design computations. Oversees and coordinates work efforts of multidisciplinary design teams and communicates with the customer. Applies standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out a sequence of related engineering tasks. Performs work that includes a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of standard materials, and difficult coordination requirements. Takes measurements and walks sewer lines at multiple wastewater plant sites. Plans and conducts work requiring judgment and independent evaluation. Interfaces with existing local and regional clients and participates in marketing activities.
