Job Description:

Directs and oversees the process engineering team by providing process support, coordinating process development, and managing Process Engineers. Recommends and organizes process improvements, and controls projects and tasks. Provides leadership and management direction to daily workforce functions. Ensures the process engineering team has the necessary resources to complete assigned tasks. Prioritizes work to ensure engineering resources are used to produce the highest return on investment. Develops objectives and targets for the department and individual engineers and ensures proper execution to meet expected timely outcomes. Directs strategic and tactical engineering activities to improve processes and to meet ongoing requirements for cost, quality, and productivity. Drives and enforces structured problem solving and statistical process control to reduce variation and drive continuous improvements in final product quality, reliability, and costs. Prepares and manages a yearly budget, and establishes and manages a yearly plan for the department. Interfaces with suppliers to develop necessary processes. Analyzes data, prepares reports, and implements statistical process controls. Writes a project plan for process implementation, executes process plan, and performs failure mode effect analysis to establish correct operating conditions.
