Job Description:

Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical generator systems, switchgear, and related equipment. Performs quality maintenance, diagnoses, disassembles, inspects, performs rebuilds, and reassembles all components or equipment. Repairs and rebuilds products. Removes and reinstalls products within acceptable standard repair hours. Operates machine tools in shop with minimum supervision. Completes written reports on jobs including work orders, labor, parts, cause, corrections, repair stories, travel details, etc. Completes all paperwork in an accurate and timely manner, such as work orders, delivery/return damage tickets, fuel usage reports, etc. Utilizes knowledge of most common generators, i.e., engines, fuel systems, power generation, trouble codes, etc. Performs responsibilities at customer job site with minimum supervision and also in shop as needed. Communicates effectively with customers, other employees, and supervisor. Complies with policies of safe driving and vehicle use.
