Job Description:

Administers pension benefits in an organization, including calculation and timely distribution of benefits. Communicates pension information to the participants of the pension plan. Works with clients and outside vendors. Performs various levels of non-discriminations tests. Determines individual and plan contribution limitations. Performs actuarial valuations. Reviews plan documents and prepares forms. Processes paperwork for new enrollments and plan terminations. Trains personnel on the pension plan provisions and ad hoc reports. Participates in annual compliance reviews and annual audits of pension plan records. Prepares administration reports and annual reports. Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of ERISA and its applications, government forms for defined benefit plans, and retirement plan provisions and procedures. May prepare client billings.
