Job Description:

Supervises and coordinates activities of field service engineers engaged in the installation, repair, and servicing of equipment and machinery in field installations. Supervises installation of equipment according to manufacturer's specifications. Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet schedules. Interprets specifications and job orders to employees, and assigns duties. Is required to be adept in activities of employees supervised. Studies schedules and estimates time, cost, and labor estimates for completion of job assignments. Consults with engineering personnel to resolve unusual problems in system operation and maintenance. Develops and implements methods and procedures for monitoring work activities in order to inform management of current status or work activities. Analyzes department budget to identify budget needs and may allocate operating budgets funds. Interprets company policy to employees and enforces company policy and practices. Recommends measures to improve methods, performance, and quality, and suggests changes to increase efficiency. Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists employees in solving work problems. May instruct employees in electronic theory. May supervise workers in testing, tuning, and adjusting equipment to obtain optimum operating performance. May advise management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, and suggestions for product improvements.
