Job Description:

Plans, schedules, and directs the development, creation, and implementation of plans and programs that improve and support applications for business and products. Heads a team of application development staff, which may include managers, engineers, project leaders, analysts, and/or programmers, who are responsible for designing, developing, testing, analyzing, building, and maintaining support of applications, with a focus on new and emerging technology. Assures project success by creating and reviewing project plans, timelines, estimates, and requirements documents, and guiding staff to improvement and greater accuracy in these areas. Develops financial and operational objectives, and applies expertise to achieve financial and operational objectives and to ensure that operational plans are aligned with business objectives. Contributes to functional strategy development. Manages resources to ensure financial objectives are met, leveraging knowledge of competitive advantage and profit drivers. Anticipates internal/external business issues to align operational priorities, strategies, and tactics. Constructs strategies for addressing future business scenarios.
