Inspects automatic supervisory-controls in unattended stations to verify their... performance of supervisory functions, according to specifications and cumulative station-operation records. Performs acceptance and performance tests under direction of engineering personnel to evaluate performance of new and operating equipment. Calculates average and peak load conditions of station from electric recording instrument data and compiles report of load conditions and test results for equipment performance evaluation and system planning purposes. Repairs or replaces blown fuses and defective switches or wires. Opens switches to deenergize station circuitry and distribution lines preparatory to repairs by maintenance workers or linecrews.
