Job Description
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in making ready, operating, and feeding various types of presses used to print newspapers, magazines, books, and other printed matter. Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet schedules. Oversees press operations and examines printed material to verify conformance with work order specifications. Examines multicolor printed material, using precision instruments, to detect imperfect color tone registration.
