Advises clients as to legal rights, and represents client in criminal and civil lawsuits. Researches, gathers evidence, interviews clients and witnesses, prepares legal briefs, and develops strategy, arguments, and testimony in divorce, civil, criminal, and other cases to formulate defense or to initiate legal action. Represents client in court and before quasi-judicial or administrative agencies of government. Practices various phases of law.
