Job Description
Manages the procurement and sourcing of related goods and services, and heads a cross-functional team in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and renewals. Develops the vendor and organization category strategy, working with the management team, and assures uninterrupted supplies of materials and services. Sets department goals, analyzes and negotiates costs to meet company goals and expectations, and executes demand planning with supply chain to ensure capacities meet volume forecasts. Focuses on total cost of ownership, risk mitigation, business case modeling, strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, and supplier relationship management. Maintains compliance with company and government regulations and best practice standards.
