Directs activities for employees of industrial and/or commercial establishments in order to enhance employee relations and assist in positioning the organization as an employer of choice. Oversees arrangements for employee activities which may include programs and services, such as fundraising social activities, service award programs, physical fitness and wellness programs including arranging for physical examinations, first aid, and other medical attention, alcohol and substance abuse programs, employee assistance programs, service award programs, new employee orientation, libraries, lunchrooms, operation and maintenance of recreational facilities, and educational programs.
